Hailing from the world of Division 1 soccer at Ohio State University, Danny Jensen had his eyes set on a promising career as a professional soccer player. His talent was undeniable, and he was already garnering attention from pro teams. However, a fateful kick to the face abruptly halted his dream, forcing him to recalibrate his path.

With that need for competitive outlet running through his veins, Danny embarked on a new adventure, leaving behind Ohio, Miami and Colorado to settle in the sunny valley of Phoenix, Arizona. In 2021, during the peak of the pandemic, he stumbled upon pickleball. And having never played a racquet sport Danny stayed true to his character and not approach this new challenge half-heartedly. He dove in headfirst.

The local pickleball courts initially humbled him as he learned the finer details of the game, but Danny is not one to back down from a challenge. Determined to improve, he took matters into his own hands and invested in a ball machine. He honed his skills until he could not only hold his own but also start taking down the seasoned locals.

Danny's competitive spirit knows no bounds, and he's embraced the pickleball community with open arms. He claims that he is "very very competitive and his highlight reel proved this instantly during the submission process. His journey in pickleball has become more than just a hobby; it's a dream. He aspires to become a full-time pickleball professional, and with his unwavering work ethic, he's well on his way.

Before he embarked on the path of his pickleball dreams, Danny worked as a Medical Salesperson, grinding his way through the corporate world. Off the court, he's the self-proclaimed "biggest Chipotle fan in the world," an avid outdoorsman, a dedicated hiker, and an enthusiastic traveler who loves exploring the globe.
